2025 Update

We are wrapping up a fabulous 2024, with 270 shows in schools, theaters, libraries, senior residences and rehab facilities

In October,  we marked the 50th anniversary of our musical collaboration.   Way back in 1974, we took the stage at Gerdes Folk City in Greenwich Village.   While we had big dreams back then, little did we know how they would be realized.

Thanks to all of our supporters who have helped us out at various stages of our career:  PTA parents, Recreation Directors, librarians and our dedicated fans who manage to show up at our public performances.

We probably won’t go for another 50 years, but we hope to keep at it for a while longer!

Back in October, our local newspaper Newsday published an extensive profile of our career.   What an honor!

We are quite pleased that the past school year saw a big bump in our .   We were very busy in December with our multicultural “Mistletunes” show.  This December, we presented the show at CSI Concert Hall in Staten IslandQueensboro Performing Arts Center and Lehman Center for the Performing Arts.

Our Civil Rights history program and our literacy program “Reading ROCKS!”  were also quite popular.

Our library shows for adults were also a big hit recently.   Here is an excerpt from our show “Great Songs of the 1960s”

Our Shows

We offer a variety of shows, designed to delight audiences of every description.  Many of our shows are educational, including our renowned series of multimedia Arts-in-Education programs.  We have adapted several of these shows for senior audiences.  Feel free to explore all of our programs and please contact us if you have any questions or would like a recommendation for a particular event.

A lifetime of music…

What does it take to survive in the music business today? Talent, dedication, perseverance and an open-minded attitude. With few sources of income for musicians available, only those who think outside the box can continue to support themselves.

After 40-plus years of musical collaboration, Suzanne Smithline and Glenn Paul Manion are not merely surviving, they are thriving. Having chosen to share their talents with underserved and nontraditional audiences, they are in high demand to perform in schools, libraries, senior centers parks and theaters. They average well over 250 dates a year, working together, as solo artists and with their longtime drummer Phil Leone.

A musical performance by SQUEAKY CLEAN can energize a group of special needs children and their support staff; it can recreate the freshness and vitality of classic rock and roll; it can educate elementary school students about the American Civil Rights movement; it can rejuvenate seniors with lively renditions of songs they loved in their younger days.
